Gearing up for The Gabriola Thanksgiving Studio Tour!

With less than 20 days left before the tour, I'm starting to finish off some of my paintings. A friend gave me a book of robins, it was a sweet book and the starting point for this painting.

I'll be #22 on the Studio Tour, 2635 Islands View. My mom and sister will be joining me at my studio this year to have their handmade items on display.

Task 1 one completed. My Etsy site Lullugirl is up - now I need to get more artwork on it. I'm in the midst of working on 8 paintings.
Today the kids did a few drawings from youtube, on the list we're elephants, aliens, dogs, and spaceships.
We also began a sewing project for both of them, Bianca (6.5yrs) made a heart shaped tooth fairy pillow with three pockets - she thinks she may loose three teeth at once, Gill (4.5yrs) had me start a spaceship for him. We got started on the idea by this no-sew pillow project, but we didn't have any fleece at home so we adapted it to go with what we had, it's amazing how ideas develop.
